Jonas’s IT Journey

at Plus Pack

As an IT apprentice, Jonas gained invaluable skills and thrived in a supportive environment at Plus Pack. Learn more about Jonas’s journey here.

Choosing Plus Pack

A Decision Driven by Opportunities

From the very beginning, Jonas knew he had options when it came to his apprenticeship. However, what made Plus Pack stand out was the welcoming atmosphere at the interviews and the potential to grow, both personally and professionally.

"I had interviews at two places and could have chosen either job, but I decided to go with Plus Pack. The interview left a great impression—it seemed like a good workplace with exciting opportunities, such as the chance to work in Belgium."

Professional Growth Through

Hands-On Learning

Jonas’s time at Plus Pack was marked by an incredible amount of learning. From mastering new systems to developing skills beyond what formal education could teach, his apprenticeship became a launching pad for his career in information technology.

"When I started, I did not know any of the systems I work with now. Everything I have learned, I have learned here at Plus Pack. The basic training at school was helpful, but I have gained most of my skills through practical experience in the company. It is knowledge I can take with me to my next job."

Building Connections and

a Positive Work Environment

At Plus Pack, Jonas found more than just a place to work—he discovered a supportive team and a culture that made every day enjoyable. Whether through collaboration or team-building activities, the positive atmosphere became a defining feature of his time at the company.

"The atmosphere in my department is fantastic—everyone is easy to work with, and there is no negativity. It is a flexible workplace where you can manage your schedule, work from home, and avoid unnecessary stress. Furthermore, we have quarterly team activities such as go-karting or dining out, which I really like."

Advice for the Next Generation

of IT Apprentices

Reflecting on his journey, Jonas shares advice for future apprentices. His perspective emphasizes the importance of curiosity and independence, valuable qualities for anyone stepping into a new role.

"Do not be afraid to try new things and ask questions if you are unsure—but also make an effort to solve problems on your own before asking for help. Striking that balance is important."
