Placing circularity at the core.
For good.
With circular packaging as our goal, a sustainable mindset is at the core of our work – from product development and procurement to marketing and sales
We support the UN Sustainable Development Goals with a particular focus on goal 12, “Responsible Consumption and Production”. By addressing specific global challenges related to the way we design and manufacture our products, we continually find new ways to ‘do more and better with less’.
Lowering our CO2 emissions to reach net zero for real.
Scope 1, 2, and 3
emissions
To lower our CO2 emissions and reach net zero, we invest in energy efficiency and renewable energy at our company sites while collaborating with our partners and suppliers to reduce scope 3 emissions.
This includes:
- 4096 solar panels supplying 30% of our annual energy.
- 18% CO2 reduction in scope 1 and 2. (2021-2022)
- Circular products account for 88% of sales. (2022)
- Increasing recycled material usage for lower CO2 emissions.
- Lightweighting products to use less materials.
- Minimising production scrap to reduce material usage.
- Optimising supplier-to-customer transportation.

Take responsibility
Mono-materials are essential for a circular economy due to their high degree of recyclability. This is why we prioritise mono-materials in PET and PP in our food packaging solutions, helping the food packaging industry do its part for a more sustainable future.
Science
Based Targets
We’re in this for good. That’s why we have committed ourselves to reduce scope 1 and 2 emissions 50% by 2030 from a 2018 base year, and to reduce our scope 3 emissions. The objectives have been approved by The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) through a target validation process for small and medium-sized enterprises, driving ambitious climate actions.
The SBTi enables businesses worldwide to set ambitious emissions reduction targets aligned with the latest climate science – focusing on achieving a 50% reduction by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2050.
PLUS PACK PROUD MEMBER OF
ALUMINIUM STEWARDSHIP INITIATIVE
Plus Pack has been approved member of the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI), a global non-profit organisation that sets standards for responsible production, sourcing and stewardship of aluminium. By joining ASI we take yet another step in our dedication towards a circular economy.
With ASI we can ensure aluminium standards are met, to continue to transform the packaging industry for good.
“The Science Based Targets initiative marks an important step in our Circular 2024 strategy. Now the hard work starts to deliver real impact on our scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. This includes investments in renewable energy, reducing the carbon footprint of our raw materials and the introduction of new circular products.”
