Sparking biodiversity

For good

We are excited to share that Plus Pack has been chosen as one of 14 Danish companies to engage and inspire others in working with biodiversity. As global biodiversity faces threats and rapid decline, Danish Industry Foundation (DI) and World Wildlife Fund (WWF) have launched an online portal for companies to share their biodiversity experiences, including projects like Plus Packs.

How did Plus Pack’s journey

in biodiversity begin?

Our focus on biodiversity began in 2021 when we decided to pursue DGNB certification for our new warehouse. This certification emphasizes circular principles throughout all stages of construction.

Completed in 2022 and achieving DGNB silver certification in 2023, the warehouse project inspired us to integrate biodiversity into our outdoor areas. By combining insights from employee well-being evaluations with our focus on natural landscapes, we merged social initiatives with contributions to local biodiversity.

Our biodiverse garden

For the benefit of us all

At our Odense headquarters, in front of the main building, lies the ‘Infinity Path’ (Evighedsstien), shaped like an infinity symbol to represent our commitment to circularity.

This path not only symbolizes our circular mindset but also serves as a biodiverse landscape for employees, guests, and local wildlife to enjoy. Additionally, next to our canteen, we have planted edible plants and herbs that can be enjoyed by employees.

Another effort in our

sustainability journey

Our journey towards biodiversity was significantly inspired by the construction of our new warehouse and our focus on employee well-being.

Our consistent efforts towards circularity naturally extended to supporting local biodiversity. With the support of DI and WWF, we hope to inspire others to embrace biodiversity.
