Continued membership of

The plastics Promise

At Plus Pack, we are involved in numerous circular partnerships around Europe, and one of them is the Norwegian plastic initiative, Plastløftet. Plastløftet, also known as 'The Plastics Promise,' is a project created by Grønt Punkt Norge, a non-profit group in Norway.

Plus Pack is proud member of

Plastløftet - “The Plastics Promise”

Plastløftet (“The Plastics Promise”) is an initiative developed by Grønt Punkt Norge (“Green Dot Norway”) which is a Norwegian non-profit organization, responsible for financing the recycling of used packaging made from plastics glass, metal, paper, and more. With Plastløftet, the organisation is seeking to support Norwegian companies in helping the European Union execute the European Plastics Strategy, in which targets have been set for increased recycling of plastics by 2025 and 2030.

The team behind Plastøftet helps companies improve in the following three areas: 1. Increase the use of recycled plastics in the production, 2. Avoid unnecessary use of plastics through reducing materials and 3. Design for recyclability.

Plus Pack surpasses targets set by

Plastløftet in Norway

We are proud to continue our support for Plastløftet, and last year we once again achieved the targets set to remain a part of Plastløftet. In 2023 (compared to 2022), we managed to achieve the following targets in Norway:

1.   We increased our use of recycled plastics with 26 tons, corresponding to 14%

2.  We reduced our use of plastics with 63 tons, corresponding to 6%

3.   We offered 30 new products designed for recyclability to the Norwegian market

With our continuing support we would also like to emphasize the importance of circular business practices where we at Plus Pack design and develop packaging solutions following the principles of the Danish Design Guide to offer circular packaging solutions that are easy-to-recycle. Plastløftet is yet another initiative that will let us help our customers reach sustainability goals and support the transition to a circular economy.

Many great companies such as BAMA, Mills, Norengros, NorgesGruppen, Norsk Kylling and REMA1000, have signed the initiative. Initiatives like these are vital for creating a more sustainable future for the environment – as well as for promoting and attesting your company’s commitment to supporting a circular economy.
